Use and Care

How to Use Your Tupperware® Hamburger Press & Keepers Set:

1. Place molding ring on a plate, cutting board, or keeper.
2. Add ground meat or mixture (⅓ lb. max).
3. Press down evenly to shape the patty.
4. Remove ring and cook immediately or store in keepers.
5. Stack keepers vertically and seal with the top lid before refrigerating or freezing.

Sealing Tip

Place the groove of the second container over the ring of the filled container. Then press down firmly on the top container with your thumbs. Slide your fingers around the bottom container, tucking the last bulge into place to complete the seal.

Go Beyond the Burger

This versatile container can be used not only for hamburgers but also for chicken croquettes, potato cakes/latkes, or fish patties.

• Veggie Burgers: Make your own falafel, lentil, or bean mixture with herbs and spices. Use egg and breadcrumbs to keep the burger together.
• Chicken Croquettes: Finely chop cooked chicken or turkey and combine with seasoned thick white sauce. Add chopped parsley, minced onion, or lemon rind to season. Prepare burgers and freeze. Dip in egg and breadcrumbs before frying.
• Potato Cakes: Bind leftover mashed potatoes with an egg, and season well. For variation, add cheese and chopped cooked vegetables.
• Fish Cakes: Prepare your favorite fish cake mixture using smoked fish, white fish, or both. Sprinkle a few breadcrumbs inside the ring then add a portion of fish mixture to form the fish cake. Sprinkle crumbs on top, then press lightly with the Press and remove ring.
• For all, use immediately or refrigerate / freeze.
